PITONYAK MACHINERY CORPORATION Introduces The Latest Models In A Long History Of BRANDT Grain Carts

CARLISLE, AR -- June 1, 2007 -- PITONYAK MACHINERY CORPORATION, “PMC”, manufacturer of BRANDT farm equipment, has re-designed its two largest models of BRANDT Grain Carts for the 2007 season.  PMC has met the farming industry’s growing demand for more efficient equipment bringing the GCX Series Grain Cart to production.  The idea was to make the Grain Cart easier to operate for the farmer and to make sure that everyone had the complete package—all the while saving them time and money.  The new BRANDT GCX series Grain Carts offer standard features above and beyond industry standards—a must-pay-for option from other brand Grain Carts.

One priority was to change the auger size.  Depending on the hopper capacity and the type of grain, the new 20” auger size cuts the unloading time down 20% from the previous 18” auger size—a big plus when you’re pressed for time.  Another priority was to make the Grain Cart easier to use in the field.  This was accomplished by re-designing the hopper and changing the axle.  The hopper has been lengthened to give the combine operator an easier target for on-the-go dumping in the field.  The axle is fully enclosed and adjustable from 120” to 156” in 6” increments.  This standard feature adds versatility to the Grain Cart.  Different field conditions, such as row width, are no longer an issue.  Last, but certainly not least, was to make sure that all these features and more were made standard on every BRANDT GCX Series Cart.  Each GCX Series Cart comes standard with Radial Tires, WALTERSCHEID PTO Shaft, SHUR-LOK Tarp, 3/8” SuperEdge™ Flighting, Safety Chain, Patented Single Spring Top Auger System, Patented Lower Drive Bushing with Stainless Steel Insert, and the Newly Re-Designed Patent Pending Drive Collar System.  

BRANDT Grain Carts have been manufactured for over sixty years.  It is not uncommon to see BRANDT Grain Carts that were manufactured over thirty years ago still in operation today.  The Grain Cart capacities have changed over the years with the first BRANDT carts holding only 100 bushels, a large amount back then.  Today the BRANDT Grain Carts are available in 675 bushel, 850 bushel, and 1050 bushel capacities.  With larger combine hoppers, these BRANDT Grain Carts will reduce the need for multiple carts and keep combine waiting times to a minimum thus saving time and money for today’s farming operations.
